Safranbolu Saffron Harvest
A journey into the colour, scent and traditions of Safranbolu during saffron harvest season. From historic streets and traditional architecture to local gastronomy, saffron fields and artisan encounters, the programme was designed as an immersive experience of the destination.

For Şebnem Urgancıoğlu, travel is more than the combination of flights and accommodation. It is the thoughtful coordination of people, places and authentic experiences. Active within All Seasons Tours&Travel since 2004, she brings more than two decades of experience in tourism, hospitality, destination management, corporate travel and meeting organisation.
Her professional background ranges from managing historic boutique hospitality properties in Safranbolu to gastronomy, local experiences, private groups, public institutions and international projects. She studied Banking and Finance at Bilkent University and completed Professional Culinary Arts training at MSA – Culinary Arts Academy. She speaks advanced English and French and basic German.
Corporate & Sector Experience
Travel, meeting and event experience across private companies, public institutions, ministries, municipalities, chambers of commerce, European Union and international projects. Past work has involved the Turkish Ministries of Health and Development, Safranbolu Municipality, ETUC projects and consultancy for Sweden’s TCO; these are not presented as current partnerships.
Current roles: Alternate Member of the TÜRSAB Board of Directors, 26th Term, and TAŞFED – Türkiye Chefs and Cooks Federation, Karabük Provincial Chair. Former roles: Vice Chair of TÜRSAB Gastronomy Tourism Specialisation Committee and President of SAFTİD – Safranbolu Tourism Operators Association.
